Halloween

Happy Halloween! I’m not quite sure if I’m going trick or treating tonight, though. My plans with Lindsay sort of fell through the floor when her friend suggested they just go alone so they could hang out, which is fine with me. I can always just walk down my street, they like to give nice candy. My only issue is that I don’t know what to do for a costume on such short notice. Oh well, maybe I just won’t go.

Yesterday, school went all right. It was just an average day. After school I stayed after and helped Lindsay with a school project of hers, and I also finished all of my homework from Friday, so I have nothing to do this weekend! After that, at around 4:15, her dad came and picked us up, and we went to her house. I stayed until around 11:30 and then went home. So yeah, that’s basically all that’s happened lately.

To see how I’m doing on coding and a new potential theme!

E: So yeah…I’m not going trick or treating tonight. This will be the first time in my life I’m not doing it.
This is really lame.

E2: So yeah…I ended up going trick or treating. I made up a costume at the last second.
If you’re curious, I was a slutty cheerleader.

Old Friends

So last week I got myself a locker, which was pretty cool. But it wasn’t until earlier today that I really used it the way I intended on using it. Today I had a test and quiz to take in Algebra 2, so I had no homework afterwards. In Physics class we had about 10 questions out of the Physics Textbook we use. I finished some work from Computer Apps a day ahead of time, so I spent today finishing homework and whatnot. I finished the Physics stuff, and took both that and my Algebra materials to my locker. My backpack has never been so light.

All I have in it at the time is a History folder, so I’ve been pretty happy today with that. Not only that, but later during Computer Apps I played some Mavis Beacon typing games, and check out the score I got:
MB

Yes, I scored 106WPM with zero mistakes. That beats my previous personal best by about 10WPM. Now, I realize this is not my legit typing speed, but still, that’s hard to get.

That’s all I’ve got to blog about, right now. Later tonight I’m (hopefully) going to a choir concert of Lindsay’s, and she got the lead solo, so I’m excited to hear her sing.

EDIT: I have more stuff.

So I went to the Choir Concert, and I must say: Lindsay has an incredible voice! I was so impressed with her :)
She did so great, as well as the rest of the choir. Afterwards I watched 2 songs by the Jazz Band while my parents came to pick me up, and they were awesome, as well.

Today I sort of had a blast from the past. I looked on Facebook to see several of my friends adding an old name I remembered. In fact we were neighbors at one point. But he moved to a rival school and I haven’t talked to him in probably around 6 or more years. So right now we’re talking on Facebook, and it’s really cool. He and I used to be pretty decent friends.

Another interesting newsflash today: Our beagle is deaf! Completely deaf! I had no idea, but we took her to the vet and he tested her and she has absolutely no hearing! We call her and stuff but she has no idea whatsoever. Now I feel bad for getting angry with her for not listening to me when I call her into the house, but that’s the thing. She cannot even hear me, haha. So yeah she’s really old, and I don’t know how much longer she has left with us.

Finished Practice

Before I show you what I’ve been working on lately, I’ll just update this blog with a little bit of my life. Today I went over to Lindsay’s to help her with her Algebra 2 homework (yes, we actually did homework). Then we watched Food Network until I left around 9:45.

I’m pretty sad, though. Tonights the ending of my nice and long 5 day weekend. Tomorrow is going to be crap. Waking up early and whatnot. I’ve also missed out on quite a bit of work from classes. So I get to catch up on that, hooray! /sarcasm.

That’s what I’ve been practicing for the past couple weeks. Now I know it doesn’t look like much. But I’ve spent that time setting up the WordPress piece by piece, as well as typing out all of the coding required to make it operate correctly. Now, it’s still a work in progress, but I’m leaving that there so I can update it and keep all of my readers (lolwut?) updated with the progress, because once it’s done I’m going to use it on the main site.

Once I put that code on the main site, I’ll probably keep it just to mess around and try out some new things.

E: By the way, if there was a way I could make the site more appealing to you, or anybody in general, what would it be? (Besides changing the theme, I’m working on that). I’m talking about within the posts. Is there anything you’d like to see?
