Today was quick, not much happened, I’m starting to get the exam reviews. Yeah…today in Gym, we had a day with the Advanced class. Today was particularly hard, because they worked my arms so hard they still feel weak and noodly (like 8-9 hours later). I don’t even know how to explain it, it was very painful. I almost threw up during squats, mainly because I had to wear a belt to keep my back straight, and it was super tight on my stomach. I’m def. going to be sore in the morning.
So I suppose all there is left to do is listen to music and study and finish homework. For the Honors English 10 summer book, I went with A Separate Peace. I chose that one because the other one was about racism and prejudice. Which was the subject our Honors English 9 class went on about for 2 trimesters and read like 2 (maybe 3) books about. It just doesn’t sound like something I’d want to read over the summer.
I suppose I’m going to end it here. I’ve got nothing left to say, and I feel tired.
Oh yeah, I might be getting a new camera as the school year ends. I get a small amount of money for good grades, and if I combine that with my recently acquired Amazon gift cards (late birthday), my dad might help me pay for a nice camera. One with a hard drive!
So if that does happen, I’ll be filming a lot over the summer.

Today went quick, this is probably the last quick day of the school year. The rest will all be exams, reviews, testing, essays, and some busy-work in between it all. My freshmen year of high school is coming to a close, and I need it to end well. I don’t know what to blog about today…and I just typed out Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before realizing I had already done that. So I just killed a lot of time and accomplished nothing. Yay. So this post will be about Memorial Day yesterday.
So as I mentioned in the last post, my girlfriend’s family wanted to take me to Ludington to go see stuff and swim and all sorts of stuff. Well we went, and it was amazing. It was a 2 hour drive there, and well worth it. The beaches looked so clean and nice, it wasn’t crowded at all, and the water was a good temperature (until you went past your knees, then it was ice cold). After quick swimming and stuff, my girlfriend and I went for a walk around the campgrounds and all of the little sights, such as the dam or the bridges. Then we ate hot dogs, and afterwards went on a long hike. When that finished (it took us well over an hour) we went and got some really good ice cream and went out on the pier to watch the sun (they wanted to see it set, but then we wouldn’t leave until like 9-10. Since it was a school night…we obviously couldn’t stay). So then it was a 2 hour drive back and they dropped me off at my house on their way home. So all in all, great day.
Before I end it I’ve got to choose out of a list of books for a summer project for my Honors English 10 class (we present the first week of school next year) and I’ve narrowed it down to 2 books.
A Separate Peace
and
A Lesson Before Dying
The first is about 2 English boys at a boarding school during WWII. The latter is about a black man who is falsely acused of a crime and is put on death row, then a man visits him and teaches him something, I don’t know exactly.
But I don’t know which to choose.
EDIT: Due to recent computer problems, Photoshop has also decided it doesn’t want to work.
Okay well, my computer has decided to go crazy. It all started when I was uninstalling things on my computer. In the end, I cleared up over 65GB total. But I decided it was finally time to uninstall WindowBlinds. So I don’t know if something went horribly wrong, but now all text on my computer is italicized, and all titles/headers are bolded. It’s starting to bother my eyes. That’s not the only problem. I was playing some casual Fallout 3 (I’ve got it on the PC and 360, don’t judge me), when all of a sudden my screen went black. I thought nothing of it and just rebooted. It continued to do that. So my dad was trying to see the problem and it’s something to do with the graphics card. So I tried installing the latest driver, but there was an error in the installation and it basically reset all video and visual settings I had. So now, with my dual screens, my CRT is dominant over my main LCD screen, so now all windows, games, and icons show up there. I had this problem the first time I got the dual screens. It was easily solved, but that’s not all of it either. Now all of a sudden my wallpaper that I’ve had for like months is too small for my LCD. For no apparent reason. No matter how I try and fix it, it doesn’t work. I dunno, my computer just does this. It works perfectly for a few months, then gradually starts dying from the inside.
Aside from computer troubles, today I went to Lake Michigan, walked along the shore, took some photos, all that good stuff. Afterwards I went to my girlfriend’s house and we watched Role Models (we never finished it, it was that bad, and I thought it would be great) and Ferris Beuler’s Day off (spelling?) which was very funny, in my opinion. We swam in her pool and walked outside. It was pretty fun. Then her and her mom got into a discussion about Ludington (their annual vacation spot) and asked if I had been there. When I told them I hadn’t, they flipped out. Now they want to take me there tomorrow just so I can experience it. That’s pretty crazy, lol. It’d be really cool if that worked out. So that’s just about it. I almost didn’t post but uhh…obviously I did.
