Okay so I meant to make this later on May 30, but I was busy until after midnight so…yeah.
Went and saw Up today.
Incredible.
If you see it, see it in 3D. It isn’t like those cheesy 3D movies that make the 3D effect apparent. In fact, there isn’t hardly anything like that in the actual movie. All it actually does is add a lot of depth to the shots and make it seem like you’re right there, looking at it all happen.
It was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had with a movie.
But it’s not my favorite. Still highly recommended.
Other then that I hung out with my girlfriend, watched Valkyrie, A Bug’s Life (she’d never seen it, somehow), and Step Brothers.
That pretty much sums up today, or yesterday.
Tomorrow, or today I’ll be working on biology probably all day so don’t expect a post.

For the past couple days, all I’ve really talked about is school and gym.
Today isn’t going to be much different, I’m afraid.
Today in gym (of course), we did a dot drill. For those of you (who ever you may be) who don’t know what the dot drill is, it is basically this (in the video, he does 5 of each, we do 6 at school):

I did mine in 48 seconds, which beat my previous best time by 5 seconds. We had to get 50 seconds or lower in order to get a perfect score, so I did well there. Next was the 12 minute run. For this we simply ran around the gym as many times as we could in 12 minutes. I wanted to make up for my terrible push ups, so I pushed myself. One of my friends and I ran quite fast through the whole thing and ended up with 32 laps. It was much better then I planned on getting, and I was/still am surprised because 4 more laps and I would have run 2 miles in 12 minutes. Plus 32 laps gave me 48 points towards the exam. I not only made up for the push ups, but I could completely skip the mile run (the last of the physical exam) and still get an A (something like a 98%). So yeah, I did pretty well and I’m happy with that. For Biology, I found some more stuff for our disease, I straightened out my slacking partner (or at least I hope I did) so things should go smoothly from here. For French, my project is going well, and I’ll probably be finished before tonight ends. I’ve also got to do a French exam review. Geometry I’m working on as we speak, I’ve just got to do some of the exam review, and I’m practically done. Gym I’ve just got to study for the health review.
Lots of work, not a whole lot of time. Better get to work.
Tomorrow I’m not sure if I’ll post or not. I’ll be waking up early to go to a soccer game, my little sister’s team is playing my girlfriend’s sister’s team. So we’re gonna meet there, and she’s going to come over afterwards, we might go see the new Pixar film, Up. We’re not entirely sure on what’s going on.
So yeah, I’ve got work to do.
Oh yes, and I obviously changed the theme, this isn’t kr1s.net v2 because I never made the first one, or this one, for that matter. I’m not good at coding so I don’t think it will ever happen. But yeah, I feel this new design is quicker, easier, and cleaner. I do miss the post exerpts on the main page, though. Oh well, it was a sacrifice I had to make.

Today I woke up and almost couldn’t get out of bed. I had to push my way out with my legs. Pretty much my whole upper body is feeling weak and sore. So my day started off a little rough. It got better for awhile, then Gym again. We had to start the physical portion of the exam today. We began with the pacer test (running the length of the gym before a beeping sound, repeating until you can’t go on) and I got 50 (50+ was 100% so anything higher would have been a waste). Then sit ups, and my abs really, REALLY hurt from yesterday, but somehow I still managed to squeeze in 50 (again, anything higher would have been useless). Then the push ups. My arms hurt worse then anything else on my upper body, so my push ups were really bad. I only did 15 (100% is 36 push ups). But since the rest of the class was down at anywhere from 1-10, our teacher is going to allow redos some time next week. Which is good, I would have been able to get 36 with no problem if we had a day or two in between the advanced day and exams. Tomorrow we’re going the 12 minute run (run as many times around the gym in 12 minutes, each lap is 1.5 points) and I will definitely be getting some extra credit this time. Last trimester, I got 18 just casually jogging, and that was a big boost on the grade alone. This time I think I could probably get in the low twenties, if not, then 20.
Aside from that, there is nothing much to talk about. Biology is…I just tried sneezing and my abs hurt so bad I actually couldn’t. That’s kinda weird. Anyway, Biology is not very good. We’ve been assigned a large project since the beginning of the trimester, and my partner is really smart, but because he claims I’m smarter, he doesn’t think he needs to do any work. It’s ticking me off and I’m sick of him. If we have the opportunity to evaluate our partners, he’s screwed. (I was wrong about there being nothing to talk about, obviously).
Today in French we got our exam reviews, that’s exciting…118 questions, all in French, no multiple choice, all written. That won’t be time consuming, at all. Next to the review, we’ve also been given a very large project, to combine all of our knowledge into one solid thing. We are playing the role of a person who is asking for money from their rich uncle, so that they can pay for a family vacation to Europe. We have to plan a budget (hotels, plane tickets, etc.) plan activities (soccer, kayaking, biking, etc.), plan the weather , and the whole thing has to be done in French (any English words means failure). And somehow there needs to be 5 visuals, so far I’ve got 1, a powerpoint. I really don’t know how I’m going to get 5, but it is due on Monday. And I’ve got to present it in front of the class. I’m one of the only ones with a completed budget, and my powerpoint is pretty much complete, but I have to think of 5 more visuals.
I can’t believe it’s almost Friday, that’s pretty awesome. This week has flown by, and next week is the last week of school! Yay! But then again, last week of school also means exams. So that I’m not too excited for.
