Change?
Well where should I start with this post?
I guess I’ll start by saying that I’m thinking this site should go under some changes. Right now the blog is about my life…and that just seems a little too broad for this site to ever get good traffic. Unless people are ever interested in poorly planned, poorly written, and poorly organized posts. So I don’t know if I’m going to shy away from posting about my life, but maybe I should involved some other things, as well. Hm…we’ll see. If anybody reading this has any suggestions to improve the site, please comment or fill out the contact form under Contact.
Okay, that being said, now I’m just going to go back a write about life, even though lately it’s just been about school and soccer. This post isn’t any different. Our soccer team is now… 7-3-3 (3 ties, 3 losses) and we have 2 games left in the season. Tuesday’s game is against probably the most evenly matched team we’ve ever played. We beat them 2-0 last time, but those were some pretty lucky goals. Even I can admit that. We’re going to have to try extra hard then to beat them. Then, on Thursday, our final game is against the team that handed us our 3rd loss. The team we lost to 2-0, and the team I was reffering to back in the 9.24.09 post. We really should have beaten them, but our confidence was so sky high that we got too cocky and let it control the game. They are much better than last year, and beating them Thursday will be no easy task, but we can do it. We should do it.
Then, the next Saturday (a week after the Saturday following our last game) is our first game for indoor soccer, which excites me. Indoor soccer is the whole reason I play soccer in the first place. I love it, mostly because I’m much better at indoor soccer than I am at outdoor. In the usual session of indoor soccer, I get around 6-7 goals. This season of outdoor soccer, I got 1. I’m much more aggressive on the indoor fields. So yeah, I can’t wait for that.
School’s been getting tougher these last few days. In Physics we have a project that lasts all trimester, and the blueprints for it are due Wednesday. I haven’t started, and I’m not entirely sure on how to go about sketching it. But it is going to be a challenge no matter what. Then, in Algebra 2, we had a very short chapter this week, and the last lesson was probably the most time-consuming lesson of math I’ve ever seen. One problem takes up about half a sheet of lined paper! It’s madness! All in all, this week’s been extremely tiring and long for me. I can’t wait to get some rest. I don’t feel too well, either. Maybe being so tired and sore is all starting to come crashing upon me. Oh well, hopefully sleeping in will help.
Good luck with your soccer team, it’d be great if you guys won.
